Best Of Times @ STAMPlorations

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Hello everyone! It's been some time I do scrapbook pages after doing some art journal pages and other commission crafty work last month. So today is my new layout I did as part of my dt project for STAMPlorations new mixed media challenge cum Sunday Stencil for May.
Yes you heard right. It's all about mixed media projects except no card please.

This is a page of my son and my middle girl who was about to explore the Carnival Water Park in November last year. Before they went down the stairs to slide down the tunnel into the pool, as usual, mamarazzi snapped some pictures and chose this one to scrap.

Some up-close shots:
Using beads and pearls from my stash for flower center.
Flowers are all handmade using sizzix die cut and leaves happily punched with my all time favorite Carla Craft punch. At times I find punching is fastest  especially when I'm in super duper hurry to get the work done without another sitting {lol}.
I was looking for an item when I came across the printed Webster butterflies living in the envelop for God knows when. Great! When I was searching for them they're nowhere to be found and for me to take time printing for more just because is all laziness if you ask me. So yes I was so happy when I found them already fussy cut ages ago and ready to use {yippee}.

Color inspirations come from Words & Paintery:
I love the sketch at Scrap Club:
I hope to see your mixed media creation(s) at STAMPlorations before May says good bye.
Remember no cards and show our graphic to be eligible for the prize. I shall be back soon with another layout. Bye now and thanks for dropping by.

Hugs and smiles,
