8th BIRTHDAY Celebration @ STAMPlorations

 Happy Birthday STAMPlorations!

8 wonderful years blessed with amazing products just for you makers! STAMPlorations is gifting prizes to anyone of you. Celebrate with us and you could be the lucky one.

This is me on Day 2 revealing my projects using 8th Birthday Bundle #2.

I made  a shabby card with layers of oldie-left-over patterned papers accumulated from active scrapbooking years and highlight the center with the new stamping bloom from the bundle. I stamped it on a blue patterned paper and colored with water color.
Below is a row of pages made from toilet rolls for a ring booklet to be precise. Actually there's holes at the top left side but I have covered them up with the paper srcaps. At the time of doing so, I decided to leave it as is for a while because I wasn't sure whether these pages will be punch and bind back or use for something else like a tag or turn into a journal or something else. I seem to have hard time planning straight whenever I intend to repurpose toilet rolls (teeheehee).
My most favorite is the 5.5 inches art border die. It's so flexible in creating whatever you want. In my case, I cut a one strip through Sizzix machine and use it as decoration for my make.
Here's another example I did for my tag by die cutting repetitively to create a cute design:

Fun 8th Birthday Bundle Products @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! I hope you're feeling good today. I'm fine and taking great care of my brain to remain positive mind being home 7/11 for the three weeks past. Okay I do drive out to nearby grocery; think I did so three times but it's always my other half would go get our food supply when they dwindle. The lockdown is continued after June 14 and will probably end on June 26, 28? I can't remember, lol. But I'm okay with this 'homecation' because I am hoping to do as many as I can around the house especially the garden. The rain simply stop me when it pours nearly every evening when there are times I'm in the mood but!!

Anyways, when sky is grey and cloudy, I try to do what I want in the garden before rain falls; otherwise I'll be indoor crafting away, reorganizing and cleaning (never seem to end, ha but I enjoy it somehow) and what else? Yeah, my mission to sew drapes haven't started yet but let's see if I could start this week.

Enough blab. Let me now share my recent design team work for STAMPlorations featuring gorgeous products from Birthday Bundle #2.
I used See the Good and Art Border #2 die to create this tag. I really love the die and had fun poking through the thin metal with needle to release the debris after cutting it with Sizzix machine.I used Blossom Sprays #5, See the Good, and Design Blox #6 for these CAS tags.
For this intuitive art on a card, I used Blossom Sprays #5 and See the Good word phrase. Stay hopeful is what all of us have been saying since early 2020 and I'm still hoping for the world to be back to normal again. Miss travelling {smile}!!
Pre-order the Birthday Bundles for only $24.99 (reg. $38) per bundle inclusive of shipping anywhere in the world!

This deal ends Monday, June 21, before midnight Pacific time.
Better hurry!

That's it for today. See you soon with another new arrivals.

Be Strong {Tag} @ STAMPlorations

Hello there everyone and happy mid-2021!! Oh wow!! Time flies incredibly fast!! I'm not even sure the level of achievement I've accomplished so far?! Life in pandemic hasn't been the same no more and today we in Malaysia is on total lockdown from this day until June 14!! I call it 'homecation' giving me every single moment to try do different hobby I love. Today I spent a lot of time cooking though and cleaning afterwards. Happy dust free but it doesn't last {pffft}.

Let me take you to my newest mixed media tag made as part of my design team work for STAMPlorations. I left white space at the top to give the eyes rest and focus the center part and meaningful quotes.
Some up-close shots:
I used Dots 'n Beans stencil to create lovely patterns by swiping homemade gesso through the stencil. Aren't they gorgeous? If you look closely, you can see Petals #1 embossed stenciling using Sizzix machine.
I stamped the butterfly on white cardstock and fussy cut as neatly as I can. Let me say I always love fussy cutting {smile}. For additional interest, I stamped the edges with Artsy Border Maker stamp. Lastly I sticked down a sentiment from Inspirational 1 sticker set.
