Heart to Heart @ TTCRD {Sept 29 - Oct 25 Challenge}

{My DT work for TTCRD}

Hi everyone! It's me again bringing you my recent card creation designed for Through The Craft Room Door. Today starts a new challenge with similar theme Anything Goes. Click here to see more inspirations from design team 'A'.

This week we are sponsored by Deedee's Digis and I have used Raggedy Sisters.
 I had so much fun making this card as the dolls reminded me of my childhood playing with such dolls. I adore the sentiment too.
  This card will appear in the upcoming TTCRD magazine edition and your creations get to be published too if your project is chosen as winners in the weekly challenge.
Click here to submit your project. No back linking please!

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Hello! Here's sharing my tag which is designed as part of my dt work for STAMPlorations.
This time I chose to make cas design on my creation. I picked honeycomb delight ARTplorations stencil to create the background by sponging ink pad over the stencil. Then I stamped the edges using artsy border maker stamp set.

The September Mixed Media Challenge is still running and will end tomorrow however. You still have time though. Click here to submit your mixed media project and stand a chance to win great prizes.

Thank you for dropping by today and I'll be back soon.

Imagine..Believe..Achieve @ Digistamps4joy {Sunday Releases}

{My DT work for DS4J}

Hi everyone! The school break this week really keep me busy. My children and I spend a lot of time together in the house having silly jokes, fun and laughter. Not to mention cooking time with the girls and eating my cooking is my eldest girl's main hobby when she's home because she studies at boarding school and only comes home like once a month.
I wake up very early to write this post and enjoy the tranquility of the chill rainy dawn. It's so peaceful and allow me time before the kids wake up and start joking around, wrestling, quarreling; a mad house for sure, lol.

So only at this moment I can show you my art journal pages I did using Digistamps4Joy newest releases yesterday. The image is named Stained Glass Roses which you can purchase here. The sentiment is also available at DS4J shop {click here}.
  Supplies used: DS4j image, Buncho watercolors, Faber Castell watercolor pencils, black gel pen, Versafine black ink pad, Alpha gesso and modelung paste

Some close-up pictures:

 The colors from Berry71bleu mood board inspire me to make these pages. I love nature and this forestry in the mood board is so beautiful.
I must say you guessed right! Yes, I cut paper scraps into squares and glue down, applied gesso and played with watercolors to achieve the background.
I wish to enter these challenges too:
1. Mod Squad : Focal Flower

I thank you for dropping by today and hopefully I shall be back soon.

My Art Journal @ Scrap Africa

{My DT work for Scrap Africa}

Please hop on to Scrap Africa blog to see the design team creations that hopefully may inspire you to kick start your creativity and link up your project by the end of this month.

I made art journal pages using two watercolors and black as well. Black is always a must color in almost all my project {chuckle}
Supplies: Kaiser watercolors, Alpha gesso & modeling paste, black gel pen, Webster's butterflies, Making Memories 'Great Escape' stamps, Copic Sketch, Versafine Onyx black ink pad, gems and 'Standing In The Eyes of the World' Commonwealth Games 1998 song lyric

This is the mood board. Isn't it beautiful?
And some close-up pictures:
Thank you for your time visiting me this minute. Until I see you again soon, have a pleasant week.

Hugs and smiles,

Grown With Love @ TTCRD

{My DT work for TTCRD}

Hi everyone! Hoping your day is as bright as the sunflower {smile}! I made an art journal as part of my dt project for Through The Craft Room Door. This week we bring you another challenge, same theme as always, Anything Goes. You can create anything you like and link up to TTCRD blog by 21st September. Hop on to TTCRD blog to view my teammates' work for some inspirations.

Here's my art journal using sponsored image Sunflower from Doodle Pantry {thank you}.
You can read the supplies I used in the upcoming TTCRD November-December magazine.
Click here for Subscription/Renewal.
I get my inspiration from this pretty picture at Pixels and Paper Challenge Blog. The flowers and the green blend so well together. I added blue skies as well because at present we are having haze and unhealthy weather condition so we hardly see blue skies. Thus I created a blue sky and everything nice on my canvas and simply enjoy myself indoor {chuckle}.

I am eager to see your creations at TTCRD challenge and you may stand a chance to win a prize from Doodle Pantry. Get creative!

See you when I see you.

Hugs and smiles,

Brotherly Love @ STAMPlorations {Sunday Stencil & September Mixed media Challenge}

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! It's another moment for stenciling day at STAMPlorations and have a see at what the mixed media girls have created. They are fabulous!

 I created a layout of my children during our visit at the royal palace which is now a museum. My husband used his smart phone to take some photos of 'Arif hanging out with his little sister at the gazebo while the two girls and I were still looking at this and that in the palace.
To create the background, I applied modeling paste through nestled circles stencil and used artsy border maker stamp for interest.
 I believe the title suits the photograph. This is one important element I learnt in journalism class back in varsity days. At times it may take me hours to get the suitable title even caption let alone journaling, lol.
 I made some flowers from watercolor paper and painted with pink watercolors.
 Added some blue threads and gauze for more interest.
Loving the colors in this mood  board from Scrap Around The World that inspire me to choose the patterned paper and made the background with watercolor splashes of pink and blue.
 I have used this sketch from Scrapclub to create my layout.
The September Mixed Media Challenge is now up and running until the month ends. Click here to link up your creations. I'm excited to see what you make!
I am glad you stop by today and hopefully my work gives you some inspirations. Until I see you again next time. Happy creating.

Always Believe @ Scrap Africa

{My DT work for Scrap Africa}

Hi there and happy September!
This is my favorite month of the year. I love September...I shall tell why when the time comes {smile}. A new sketch challenge is being held at Scrap Africa today.
The amazing design team has made wonderful creations this time. Go and have a look here to kick start your creativity!

Today I bring you a layout of my middle daughter. Anis has been patiently waiting for me to scrap her so she can add it into her own album. We were at the barber waiting for my son to get his haircut done. While waiting, I saw the once rusty looking zinc now painted red and some in blue next to the shop. For someone like me who loves rustic view, I didn't wait any longer. Out came my compact camera from my handbag and Anis became my model. This was taken on June 21st.
Supplies: Heidi Grace paper, Heartfelt dies, Sizzix machine, watercolors, Kaisercraft patterned paper, stamp and sentiment, alphabet stamps. Eno Greetings wood flourish book mark, Tim Holtz distress ink, Micia brown ink pad, Versafine black ink pad and black rhinestones

This is the sketch challenge brought to you this fortnight:

Some up-close pictures:
What do you think of my layout? Hope you like it.
Until then. Thanks for visiting me and see you soon.

Hugs and smiles,
