Life Is A Journey {Mixed Media Tutorial} @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! I am back once again after a long sleep silence. March is definitely a busy month for me and this week I can finally breath normal after too many gasps the past three weeks.

There were sports days at my girls' schools to support and cheer on followed by exam week for me to assist my girls with their revisions. We also have guests two weeks ago and you bet I was busy cooking for my nephew and his family. Then my eldest daughter came home for a week break enable me to stay put from driving her sisters to school. They're always super thrill when their big sister is home. She return to campus yesterday morning. Then my son decided to pursue his love and interest in automobile world so he enrolled for a course in it and started yesterday.
Now that my two grown ups have quite settled down and my two school kids are enjoying their one week school break, I started declutter my craft stuff yesterday and wardrobe next.
Oh yes, this evening we will celebrate my husband's birthday. Nothing fancy just a simple menu after he gets back from work. We have already celebrated his birthday earlier on at Pizza Hut while our eldest daughter was home. That was great moment indeed.

Enough blab! Let me now drive you to my new art journal page.
You can find the step by step tutorial and more details at STAMPlorations blog.
This was done in the shopping-paper-bag mini album and there're a few more pages to fill up. Once completed I will show all pages in one blog post.

As for this page, if you look closely, you may find a heart shape somewhere in the page. It's unintentional. Can you spot it? Let me know in the comment below {smile}.

Here's to share with you a piece of great news coming soon!
You are invited to join our Spring Fling Giveaway this April. Simply by spreading the word about this event, you could be one of three winners of a $10 gift certificate to the STAMPlorations store.

All About Spring ~ TAGplorations @ STAMPlorations

Hi crafters and friends! How are you all doing today? I'm good. On this day, we at STAMPlorations brings you a fresh new TAGplorations March Challenge for tag lovers especially. You can create your own tag, use die cut tag from any brands you have or use thin metal dies from CUTplorations to make your project/s with tag/s. The choice is yours. So let's bring out your creativity.

Here's my tag with hope to inspire you and that I hope you like it:
I used Stitched Tags Nesting Dies from CUTplorations available at the shop for this creation.
This project used plenty of masking in the making and that was really fun because I haven't done masking for so long. The flowers and butterflies are from Big Bloom Factory and Blossom Like A Butterfly stamp sets. I stamped down three sentiments from Its A Girl Thing Kindness stamp set.
For the first time I used combination colors that's out of my comfort zone.
I need to know your thoughts on it so please leave your comment below.
I would love to know if they look spring enough {smile}.
Do display the graphic above in your blog post to be eligible in the votes.
And STAMPGIRLASMAH will give you 20% off on your purchase.
Until the morning after. See you when I see you.
Hugs and smiles,

Mixed Media Art Journal @ STAMPlorations

Hi! I am so happy to bring you y recent art journal designed as part of my design team project for STAMPlorations March Challenge. Please click HERE to take you to the challenge page.

This art journal is created on page spread with few layers of black gesso.
Some close-up pictures:
The sentiment is from Art Is stamp set stamped down using silver ink pad.
To create the flower decoration on both ends, I brush in gesso through Bloom Boldly stencil and stamped Trendy Butterflies 2 for additional interest.
I sincerely hope you like my creation this time. Looking forward to see yours in the challenge. Kindly display this graphic below in your blog post for a chance of winning.

Wish you lots of happiness on this day. Thank you for dropping by.
