Love Forever {Tag} @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! I was super thrill yesterday because for the first time ever I came across purple anthurium at the garden center. I used to have dark red years ago but tbey didn't survive. Last December my grand aunt gave me a pot of pink anthurium with lots of babies in it. It was the best gift ever as I get to play with math on counting how many pots I need to buy  for the babies. I end up with six average size pots at the garden center. And gave some babies to my friend. So when we saw the purple one, we jump in the air, lol. The price was too steep unfortunately!
Guess what we did? We decided to buy one anyway and chose the most with lots of babies in it to split between us by sharing money. That's what friends are for {smile}. Happy campers we are {grin}.

Sharing my TAGplorations creation on this day is this tag made from CUTplorations die.
I used Luggage Tags Nesting Dies and Set of 5 Love Word Dies for my tag creation based on this months theme.
I look forward to see your lovely tags with the swan graphic in your blog post.
I set my eyes on the heart shape admiring the deep colors hence the colors on my tag depicting the heart.

Before I sign off, here's showing a picture from Internet the purple anthurium I now have in my living room since she doesn't like to be under the sun.
I can't wait for mine to blossom like that in the photo one day. Hope my new found love and tag will inspire you to design your love tag and submit to us before March.

Shop at STAMPlorations for amazing dies and more. StampGirlAsmah will give you discounts.
Till then. Happy creating,

Believe {Artsy Mini Album} @ STAMPlorations

Sunday is here and how are you all doing? I'm good and excited to revamp my courtyard to make way for edible garden from there right up to my backyard. Gardening is an ongoing process and takes titanic of hard work, buckets of sweats and mountain of patient. Not to mention a hole in the wallet appears after paying for soil and fertilizer especially {grin}.

Today we Mixed Media team at STAMPlorations brings yo
February Mixed Media Challenge.
My fabulous teammates have created amazing designs for your inspirations.
I lighten up a super heavy duty page from a mini album made of toilet rolls.
(I shall share the full picture of the artsy mini album in my upcoming post)
Here are some close-ups:
 I used  Square City ARTplorations stencil to form a pattern on the right edge using nearly hardening left over texture paste in the jar from two years ago. That is why you can see they appear to look sandy. To make it even more realistic with rustic look, I pamper them with heat gun for bubble appearance here and there. I think at that point they look gorgeous already and need no embellishment to adorn their natural look {chuckle}
This page I call my color play over texture paste after given a coat of homemade clear gesso used BOLD SENTIMENTS-Believe stamp stamped down over light image of Framed Solitary Rose stamped down earlier own using brown ink pad. When it's completely dry, I highlight the sentiment with white gel pen.
 Aren't they gorgeous?
That's it! I hope my simple artsy this time will motivate you to create a mixed media project one of these days. If you do, be sure to link it up at Mr. Linky by February 28th you guyz!
Don't forget to display this graphic below. Without it neither stencil usage in your project won't take you to winner's group. Needing some new stencils and other products from STAMPlorations? Shop here. StampGirlAsmah will give you discount at check out so feel free to use my coupon code.

Until I see you pretty soon. Take care and have a blast day.
Hugs and smiles,

"It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop {February 1-7, 2019}

Hello everyone and wishing you a blessing February.
ToGetHer is ToGetYou to join this very meaningful event of Awareness Blog Hop on this day and shall close on the seventh day of February.
With my greatest hope that you will stay with me to the end of my very lengthy post and gain knowledge about this awareness as well as find details on how you can play along and stand a chance to win some amazing prizes.

I'm sharing my first mixed media creation as part of a Blog Hop that STAMPlorations is sponsoring to bring awareness to Turner Syndrome and second creation is clean and simple.

I too have special prize waiting just for YOU!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!
Nineteen caring Sponsors and eleven DT Members have partnered with us to bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public. For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page. Thanks for learning About Turner Syndrome.

My TS related project uses a few colors from the TS official color board:

I decided to create a mixed media art journal based on the color board focusing more on the green and blue shades as close as I can. Blending in the colors altogether with hope to achieve what I want according to the color board and I am pretty sure I did all right {smile}.
Just like the sentiments from STAMPlorations' Its A Girl Thing Kindness stamp set say: Focus on the Good, Find your Purpose and Think Positive will definitely bring success.
What say you?
Some close-ups:

For my next card creation, I chose exceptionally minimalist concept focusing on the sentiment by its own over TS colors. If you are my regular visitor or probably have seen my style over the years, CAS and me don't synchronize pretty good, lol. I often struggle making CAS design. My problem is I always want to add more and more, layers by layers and that feels complete satisfaction. Nevertheless, this awareness event tells me that I can if I want to and never ever think of what people may say when I do something differently than usual.

So here's my CAS card. Psst, it was huge struggle making this easy peasy card than the mixed media at journal above that took no thinking, just intuitive. Teeheehee.
I hope you like my creations and hopefully will give you some inspirations and never ever give up doing what you want to do. You MUST lift your head out of the mud and just do it. So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about and there's so much to explore.

Here is the list of designers participating in the Turner Syndrome Blog Hop.
COULD IT BE YOU MY WINNER?
My Prize Offering includes My Own Handmade Flower Ribbons, Rosie's Stickers, Wood Designs, Butterflies Buttons, Trims and will mostly add a few more items before I mail the prize to the lucky one. How cool does that sound? {Smile}
I shall share MY prize winner on my blog and on the TSA blog on February 15, 2019.

Please help us spread the word about this cause.
