Believe {Artsy Mini Album} @ STAMPlorations

Sunday is here and how are you all doing? I'm good and excited to revamp my courtyard to make way for edible garden from there right up to my backyard. Gardening is an ongoing process and takes titanic of hard work, buckets of sweats and mountain of patient. Not to mention a hole in the wallet appears after paying for soil and fertilizer especially {grin}.

Today we Mixed Media team at STAMPlorations brings yo
February Mixed Media Challenge.
My fabulous teammates have created amazing designs for your inspirations.
I lighten up a super heavy duty page from a mini album made of toilet rolls.
(I shall share the full picture of the artsy mini album in my upcoming post)
Here are some close-ups:
 I used  Square City ARTplorations stencil to form a pattern on the right edge using nearly hardening left over texture paste in the jar from two years ago. That is why you can see they appear to look sandy. To make it even more realistic with rustic look, I pamper them with heat gun for bubble appearance here and there. I think at that point they look gorgeous already and need no embellishment to adorn their natural look {chuckle}
This page I call my color play over texture paste after given a coat of homemade clear gesso used BOLD SENTIMENTS-Believe stamp stamped down over light image of Framed Solitary Rose stamped down earlier own using brown ink pad. When it's completely dry, I highlight the sentiment with white gel pen.
 Aren't they gorgeous?
That's it! I hope my simple artsy this time will motivate you to create a mixed media project one of these days. If you do, be sure to link it up at Mr. Linky by February 28th you guyz!
Don't forget to display this graphic below. Without it neither stencil usage in your project won't take you to winner's group. Needing some new stencils and other products from STAMPlorations? Shop here. StampGirlAsmah will give you discount at check out so feel free to use my coupon code.
