Coffe Lovers Blog Hop Fall/Winter @ STAMPlorations

Hello everyone! Welcome to Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall/Winter 2019 hosted by Coffee Loving Cardmakers.  STAMPlorations is delighted to be one of the super sponsors and it's a wonderful privilege to be a part of the design team in joining the blog hop today.

I'm usually a messy mixed media person but this time I decided to keep it simple ~ printing digital stamp, stamping and gluing down patterned papers; something I have not done for a long time.
If you love using digital stamps in your projects or haven't but would love to give it a try, STAMPlorations offers gorgeous digi stamps at the shop

I hope you have enjoyed the hop and feel excited inspired.
Erm, perhaps it's time for brew to stay alive awake and create? Lol =D

Thank you for 'hopping by' and it's been wonderful reading your sweet comment.
Be sure to check out what the other ladies created for the Blog Hop over HERE!!
Have a good day and stay blessed.

Find Your Purpose {Art Journal} ~ Stencil Challenger Reminder @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! Here's featuring my reminder project at
STAMPlorations October Stencil Challenge.

My art journal here speaks mixed media in my effort to make it looks a little vintage with several elements used layers after layers. Well what d'ya think?
A few up-close pictures:
I started off with coloring the background with black gesso followed by Deco Art green watercolor with strokes of brush.
I used Bubble Dance stencil to form some white circles using white paint then I doodle the edges with white gel pen. Then I stamped down flowers using Its A Girl Thing Kindness stamp set with versafine black ink pad before I filled them up with Deco Art gold paint.
I stamped down a white birdie from Trendy Birds 2 stamp set using white paint and shined her eyes with black gem. For more additional interest for this art work I decided to use Leaves 1 stencil designed by Sanna Lippert. I filled up the leaves with lemon green and gave the edges white color using white gel pen. Lastly I added light green loose gem in the center of each flowers.

We would love to see this graphic below displayed in your blog post to be eligible for the prize if you win.

Life Is Good {Art Journal} ~ Stencil Challenge @ STAMPlorations

Hello October and Good Day everyone!! I'm so happy to be back designing for STAMPlorations with a new season of challenges. Previously known as Mixed Media Challenge now is Stencil Challenge. You can create anything goes project/s with a stencil from ARTplorations or any brand you have.

This is my art journal to kick start October and inspire you to create and join us this month.
Some close ups:
I swiped gesso over Crisscrossed stencil on the top and bottom to frame up the main quote created with Life Is Good mask by outlining the quote with black pencil in the first place. Then I used black gel pen to blacken it even more in a relax manner.
To create all the subtitles as I call it, I used Bold Sentiment stamps: CreateDiscover and Explore to  stamp them all. All I did was playing with the sentiments in each set of stamps to create the subtitles I wanted.
This art journal speaks about my passion for art and the style I love making. I usually use watercolors for background and like to splatter black or white paint for the finishing touch. This piece of artwork consists a lot of layers and did take some ten minutes debate between my heart and brain to pick the colors {lol}.
I sincerely hope my art journal will inspire you to create anything your heart desire. Send in your projects to Mr. Linky before November. Don't forget to include this graphic below in your blog post. Without it you're not qualified for the prizes.
Taking my creation into these challenges:
1. Crafty Creations : Ch#399 Anything Goes
2. Classic Design Team Open Challenge Blog : Ch#10 Anything Goes
3. Mix It Up Challenge : Ch#30 Anything Goes + Technique
(Layering in mixed media)
4. The Creative Crafters : Ch#20 Anything Goes
5. Addicted To Stamps and More! " Ch#361 Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting me today.
Take good care and happy creating.

Born To Fly Journal @ STAMPlorations

Hello everyone! Wish you a happy Sunday and lots of happiness.
Welcome to another new challenge at STAMPlorations namely the Mixed Media Challenge this month. As usual you can create just whatever you like but the only catch is you must include stencil in your project/s. It doesn't have to be stencil/s from STAMPlorations production though. You can use whatever brand you have or make your own.

I created a what I feel like grungy art journal if I can say that. Seldom do I use shades of red in my project even though red is my favorite color all my life, lol.
Hopefully you find some inspirations from my artwork this time.

Be sure to display this graphic in your blog post to be eligible for the prize if you are the winner. And do use my coupon code STAMPGIRLASMAH at check out for 20% discount when you shop at STAMPlorations shop.

That's it for today. I look forward to see your creations at Mr Linky
Closing date is before July knocks on the door {smile}.

Happy creating and blessings.

Love You Mom {Tag} @ STAMPlorations

Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog and thank you for dropping by. Here's sharing my tag creation for MAY Tagplorations Challenge at STAMPlorations.

All About Mom is the theme and we have included an optional twist to use vellum in your creation/s. Your project can be a tag on its own or just anything but a tag must be included somewhere in your project.

This tag used Manila Tags Nesting Dies from CUTporations thin metal dies was cut with Sizzix machine. I ended tying the top with a trim from previous project.
We celebrate Mother's Day this Sunday in Malaysia. My girls often buy artificial roses at their school shop and happily bring home for me. I remember a card my eldest daughter made for me when she was about 8 years old I think. She wrote Happy Monster's Day. I can't help laughing every time I think about it {smile}.
Here are some close ups photos:
I have not used the alpha stamps for so long and decided to use them again which I bought in a wooden box at a local bookstore. It has always been my habit to stamp the sentiment I want using the alpha stamps and then cut each alpha to stick it down piece by piece. Key word is patience, lol.
I swiped heavy gesso over forest of leaves stencil to create a pattern in the background of decoupage. I form a texture on heavy card stock with layers of scrap papers and napkin for decoupage at first before stenciling took place.
I stamped a butterfly on white heavy card stock and fussy cut neatly. Then I glue down on the background and start coloring with watercolors using aqua brush.

That's it for today. Don't forget to use my coupon code STAMPGIRLASMAH for 20% discount.
I hope you find my little work of art inspiring. I'm pretty excited to see yours so do play along.

Till then. See you very soon.

My Life Art Journal @ STAMPlorations

Hi friends! Happy Sunday and Happy May.
Say what? May? Wow!! Time flies too quick I wish at times I could stop the clock and freeze myself a moment to give myself a break for I've never been so free to speak. I mean I'm always on the move, forever hectic killing two three things with one stone, hardly trying to get enough sleep during the weekend when the kids are off school but that seem impossible because my biological clock never let me sleep in till 5am. 4 o'clock in the morning is when my day begins! Hey I could just ramble on but no I'm not complaining just feel that at times twenty four hours a day is not enough although I try to balance everything, plan things out and at the end of the day, at least one of two numbers not mark in my planner. You like me?

So, enough ramble. Let's move on to my art journal spread created for May Mixed Media Challenge at STAMPlorations. This is just an intuitive art work created based on my emotion last week. There has been so many things going on in my life all crumple in a day that need to be sorted out immediately. With all the happenings and actions taken, I combined them all in this journal. I would say I completely put my heart and soul into this art work. This journal is completely me.
Some up close shots:
I used Just Flow and Crisscrossed stencils to create patterns randomly.
The butterflies are stamped, fussy cut and colored before I set them free on the pages. The bird cage is the only image left from the Kaisercraft rub on sheet so why not fill up my journal with this beauty eh!
I purposely spread light gesso over the pages to let the context in the book play some role too in making this journal more natural. Does that make sense?
And this is how it was in the first place! At this point I had no idea what I was doing {grin}.
But this is how it is whenever I do something intuitive.

If you wish to use the stencil I use like in the photo above, you can get it at special price. STAMPGIRLASMAH can give you 20% discount at STAMPlorations shop. Happy shopping guys.
That's it for now. I look forward to see your mixed media creation at STAMPlorations blog before June comes. Best to hurry, don't delay.

House Plant Jar {Tutorial} @ STAMPlorations

Good day fellow crafters!
I bring you my newest re-purpose creation ~ simple, easy and quick to make for yourself or as a gift for someone who loves succulent.
I'm not really a big fan of succulent but like looking at them. This baby succulent and all the succulents in my home belongs to my girls.
I stole chose one in their collection for my craft project :-)
Please head over to STAMPlorations blog for the tutorial.
I love using brown twine and used extras for the top part for additional interest. Place white pebbles at the bottom for drainage.
I think this makes a nice spring project you can do with kids also and encourage them gardening in a way.
It doesn't have to be succulent holder so to speak. Fill it with stationery, artificial flowers, little topiary and just anything you like.

That's it for now. I see you when I see you.
Happy creating.

Hugs and smiles,
