Today is my turn as Let's Scrap Design Team member to come out with something for a tutorial. I know I have a few ideas but this week is seeing me engrossed in sewing dresses for my girls and myself to wear on the first day of Eid Mubarak...ah, that falls on Sunday the 19th! The idea just come by while I was cutting fabric adhesive paper to apply on the fabric I was cutting. I realised that it's much easier to cut any fabrics after it is adhered with the iron-on fabric adhesive paper.
At the same time, my big girl 'Alyaa took the scrap and make her a puffy heart! I'm so proud of her creativity and yep, lifted her idea after she suggested I do it as tutorial...thanks honey!
Here's my card:
As always, this card is made based upon a sketch by DebbyD:
I feel so happy to share my tutorial with you!
Next is a puffy heart card. My girls think the heart is so pretty, lol.
And the sketch is also by DebbyD"
Cute eh! Now let's move on to the tutorial...you will love it :)
...more close-ups...
Lastly, in my last post I mentioned about fabric hexagons...here is the tutorial:
I hope I didn't bore you with my lengthy post :) Anyway, I hope you will try out my tutorials and hopefully both my cards and how-to have given you some inspirations.
Oh, before I sign off, I almost forgot that my little Afza turns 4 today! I only realised today is the 17th at almosr 4pm when I suddenly remember her birthday! We have decided to celebrate her birthday with her grandma in Melaka on Sunday...she's so excited! As there's no celebration thus to mark her birthday, I took some snap shots of her until she gets bored, heehee. Here she is posting for me {for my upcoming scrappy project}:
Afza today...4 years old...big girl yet she will always be my baby!
Thank you for dropping by today...thanks again!
Hugs!

What a wonderful tutorial, Asmah! This technique allows us to all have one-of-a-kind embellishments! You are empowering!!
ReplyDeleteSelamat hari lahir Afza. Semoga dalam peliharaan Allah sentiasa.
ReplyDeleteThese are great tutorials. I am sure it will be well liked by many. I, for one is now a fan. I can really use up all of my silk remnants for this purpose.

Asmah these cards are beautiful and your tutorials very helpful. I did not realise that those hexagons on your prevoius beautiful easel card was fabric.
