In a few minutes I'm taking my big girl to her friend's birthday party and when I come back I am going to continue scrapping until it is time to pick her up in the evening. I am having the best days of my life this long weekend as I have planned to just scrap! I managed to make a quick card this morning before I hit the stove to cook for lunch...life is bliss! I didn't want 'Alyaa to attend the party with just a present without a card so I grab my stuff and make one. Here it is:
This card follows no sketch...basically it's just artwork and that I would like to partake in iClassy Girl Anything Goes Paint challenge.
...some close-ups...
Materials used: Kaisercraft sentiment {stamp}, digi sentiment from Ginger's House, Tim Holtz distress ink, Tattered Angel mist, watercolor, acid free drawing block, cardstock, buttons and ribbon
Thank you for dropping by today...always thrill to have your visit!
Hugs!
Very nice card. May the recipient like this card as much as I do.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful thing to add scrapbooking time into your calendar, isn't it! I do grab a few minutes when I can, like you, but to set out a block of time and say, "I will scrap now!" is just the best! I love your card! This does not look like a "quick card" to me! ;-) I was surprised to find out all that color in the corner was from paint....I was expecting crayons! You can now add "card sketch designer" to your creative resume! Nicely done, Asmah!
ReplyDeleteOh you're so sweet Kay...thank you :)
DeleteCrap, this is so cool! It does look like a piece of art!
