Memories {Scrap Around The World, Sketchabilities & Mixed Media World}

Hi everyone! I have a layout to share today and there was a little glitch during the process. More on that later. So, this is my beach scene layout for my girls. As I glue down this and that, I was thinking which girl will have it in her album when they are in their 30's. Should I write a will or let them decide {hehe}
Supplies used: Kaisercraft patterned paper, watercolors, Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist, Versafine black ink pad, Micia blue ink pad, Alpha gesso & modeling paste, Martha Stewart border punch, Sizzix big shot, Heartfelt botanical wings die, masking tape, bubble wrap, white string, brown jute, alphabet stamps, black gel pen, homemade elements and flower cluster from my stash.

 I am submitting this layout into Scrap Around The World and as usual the mood board attracts me so much. It's obvious that I'm attracted to the colors. I love working with earth colors the best.
 Karan Gerbers' sketch at Sketchabilities is always my cup of coffee. Love the banner and layers and splatter of paints. Karan's sketch always puts a smile on my face :)
I also entered this page at Mixed Media World in her first mixed media challenge {congratulations Ingrid Kristina V}. I totally admire Ingrid's stunning textures, inspiring and impressive projects from the day I came to know her through my participation at Mixed Media Place last September. If you are big fan of mixed media, don't miss out on this fantastic Mixed Media World!

Some close-up photos:
 I dig out my stash to make up the flower cluster. Nothing new except the flowers burlap are cut with big shot. The blue petals and brown leaves are from someone's wedding door gift  several years ago. I like to keep wedding keepsake and many of the flowers are good for recycling.
 If you look closely at the scrunch paper strips underneath the black netting, they are actually masking tape laid across the page to create texture.
 It wasn't my intention to color up the sky in the photo. Have a see at this photo below and you will understand why:
I was overly excited when spritzing glimmer mist over the page but didn't realize the photo was sitting next to it. Oh man!!! My option was to reprint the photo but {{{{{downright lazy}}}}} or second option is alter it. I chose the latter. Pretty happy accident eh!
That's all for now. Until I see you again with my next creation, thank you for dropping by and have a good day with great memories to cherish.

Hugs and smiles,
