{My DT work for TTCRD}
Hello everyone! Today I'm showing my new layout made for Through The Craft Room Door. We have a new challenge this fortnight with similar theme Anything Goes as always. My fellow design teammates have made amazing creations to give way to your mojo. Come visit us for inspirations and play along. You may be the winner this challenge!
This is my layout of tecoma tree or scientifically known as tabebuia rosea that blossom earlier this month. It was on March 13 when I took some pictures of the tree while waiting for my eldest daughter to bring down her stuff from the hostel room for homecoming school break. I had planned to make a layout so this is it:
We are sponsored by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles this time.
Lisa will kindly give you your prize if you are the chosen winner! I just love the flower digi images and did lots of quick easy fuzzy cut to attach them to the center of two layered flowers from dies. You can read more of the listed supplies in the next issue of TTCRD magazine out in June.

My inspiration to make this layout comes from Berry71bleu flowers galore challenge. I love flowers and love making them from cardstocks or drawing papers as much as planting them in my garden :)
I also play along at Let's Capture Our Memories. I'm really a sketch person {smile}. Thanks Shirley Mascarina for your beautiful sketch.
When I saw this fab challenge at ARTastic Challenge Blog, I just can't resist it! The criteria is to use a quote or saying. I love quotes and wise words to use on my project. If they don't come from famous people, they come from my own heart written down on my layouts. This one I used is by Hans Christian Andersen who is one of my favorite authors while growing up.
A few more up close photos:
I am glad you stop by today. Thank you for your visit and I shall do my best to return the favor. Until then, take care and live to inspire!
Hugs and smiles,

ReplyDeleteHello Asmah,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to come by (albeit a little late) and say thanks so much for doing such justice to my flowers. This project turned out incredibly gorgeous. What a creative idea to add some of the flowers as centres to others. I'm not sure what you added to the centres of the pink flowers themselves, but it makes them pop so well. The other flowers and leaves you incorporated turned out just as nice. What a beautiful layout overall. Thanks for showcasing my items so nicely.
Regards,
☺ Lisa D.
