Midway Challenge ~ Digistamps4Joy

Hi everyone! First and foremost I would like to wish a Happy Dewali to my Indian friends and followers who celebrate Dewali. I hope you and your family are having wonderful time on this Festival of Light. I am enjoying the long Dewali holidays with my family. My husband suggested we window shop this evening but I would rather stay home to scrap a layout as planned. We'll see.

I am back with my newest card as a way to remind you a challenge from Digistamps4Joy. My fellow teammate Jackie is hosting this challenge and she chose Animals as the theme.
The image I used is Lion. Click here to get her.
Supplies: DS4J digi image, Kraft patterned paper, Copic Sketch, MS border punch, Memory ink pad
It's been a while I make rosette and it's always my favorite thing making paper embellishment from scrap of papers {trying my best to reduce pieces of paper from previous projects!}. My new liking in pointillism inspired by my daughter's school artwork has urged me to make dots around the edge.
I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
1. A Random Fan : ATG
2. Deep Ocean : Just One Layer
3. Fan-Tastic Tuesday : ATG {twist: Add Some Flowers)
4. Party Time Tuesdays : ATG
5. Bunny Zoe's Crafts : Animals
6. House of Cards : Punch and/or Die
7. Love To Create : ATG / Fall Colors
8. Love To Scrap : Seeing Dots
9. Not Just Cards : Always ATG
10. Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge : ATG
11. Use Your Stuff : Pets/Animals

I am glad you stop by today and here's wishing you a day filled with love and happiness.

Hugs-n-smiles,

Dream Big ~ DS4J Mid Challenge Reminder

Hello everyone! I am delighted to welcome the 100th follower today. Thank you for following me Chris. I am honored to have a new friend today. Now that I have hit the number 100, I shall reveal my news in my next post so please stay tune.

Onto my news today,  DigiStamps4Joy is currently running the 60's Challenge this fortnight. Hop over to DS4J blog for more inspirations from my fellow design team B members. The challenge ends on September 17.

I have created a tri-fold card with Twiggy. Click here to purchase her.
Supplies: DS4J digi image, Copic Sketch, Tim Holtz distress marker, Kaisercraft brown ink pad, sentiment from Ginger's House, Pop Artz patterned paper and buttons
I chose to design a less is more as the patterned paper is very retro and busy.

I thank you for dropping by today and as always I value your time.

I would like to enter these challenges:
1. Paper Playtime : Use 3 different papers
2. Cards und More : Anything Goes
3. Crafty Sentiments : Anything Goes

Celebrate "Happy Birthday"

A big HELLO to my two new followers Tammy Ortiz and Loretta {thank you ladies}. My weekend was hectic; my kiddies had classes on Saturday {{{yikes}}}. Sunday was somewhat relaxing however despite many hours spent organizing my stash and manage to make a card in the evening. It's a tri-fold card precisely to fill my sister-in-law's request whose son's birthday falls on the 14th day of March. To those who often visit my blog knows how much I adore fancy fold technique. This card is no exception; I enjoy making it so much and hoping my nephew who is turning 11 will love this robotic card.

Materials used: Kaisercraft (K-Bots patterned paper & 'Happy Birthday' rub-ons), Copic, Tim Holtz distress ink, 'Celebrate' sentiment from TLC, Crop-a-Dile, others from my stash

...some close-up photos...
I think the robots look so sweet =)
I filled in the sentiment dots with Copic; can't do without coloring!
There you have it. Keep smiling and thanks for your visit.

I would love this robot to enter these challenges:
1. Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges : For The Boys
2. Challenges 4 Everybody : Anything Goes

Hugs and smiles,
