Wanderlust Series {Special Post} @ STAMPlorations [ Comment To Win =]

Hello my lovely friends and welcome new visitors to my blog. Thank you is all I can say to each and everyone of you for taking time to drop by. That alone is so meaningful to me. Oh and I wish you much joy, love and happiness to you today and every single day.

So guys, let us travel to STAMPlorations blog and shop this minute to enjoy the stunning eighteen Wanderlust typografia sentiments that spell travel!

I honestly say these are amongst my favorite stamps in the series that I can't get over with both in creating and the temptation to travel again some time in June. Just after returning from our family getaway in Thailand last month, hubby suggested we go again, lol.
Like the sentiment below says "You don't magic to disappear but all you need is a destination." That is so true!
I created a no plan page in my small art journal booklet with three products from the shop: All You Need Is A Destination - Typografia WanderlustCityGirl - The Bee's Knees and Forest of Leaves ARTplorations Stencil.
I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning {lol} when I started playing with paint brush but I surely did a few strokes from up to bottom and side ways as well that form a random pattern. When dry, I swiped gold ink pad over the stencil and thought, "...hey that's cool."
The toughest part {as always} was placement of image and quote. One often has to decide, isn't that so? {chuckle}

 Up next is a spread of watercolor art journal in my handmade paper bag album. The actual pages were brown until I painted them with black gesso and leave out the middle part for shades of green blended in with brush strokes until I reached satisfaction. Oh yes, that is always the case {lol}.
When the pages were dried in the air, I started adding stamped images of Beautiful Place to Get Lost -Typografia WanderlustWanderlust Hipster Icons and Trendy Birds 2.
I simply mixed white watercolor with white gesso and applied directly on the stamps to stamp down on the background. They end up being white sillhoutte {smile}. Told you it's intuitive and no planning {lol}.

So guys, leave a comment for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate.
Also, to win more, join April Challenge by linking up any project you make with the focus on the sentiment. Be sure to display this graphic in your blog post to be eligible for the prize:

I do hope you find my intuitive art journals interesting and hopefully gives you some inspirations to do yours. Should you plan to get the new Wanderlust Series, do mention my name STAMPGIRLASMAH for special price.
That's it for today. I look forward to read your comments and wish you best of luck in winning the $25 GC. Have fun creating and stay blessed.

 Hugs and smiles,
