Be Strong {Mixed Media Art Journal} @ STAMPlorations

Hello everyone! Wishing each and everyone of you a happy March and in the best of health. I'm so excited to bring you the newest stencil challenge from STAMPlorations for this entire month. My teammates and I have created some awesomeness which you can have a look at the STAMPlorations blog.

I'm happy to share my little art that I hope will inspire you on this beautiful Tuesday. However I will have to confess that I got a little bit stuck during the process until my eldest daughter gave me some ideas. She saw some paper flowers I made last year and suggested I adhered a piece on the little page. Yeah, why not {chuckle}.

This upcycle projects made from toilet rolls took me one sitting as I have gathered everything needed from my gorgeous stash from stencils to stamps to clear stickers all from STAMPlorations.

Some close-up pictures:

I made several paper flowers in my spare time and so glad this one match the color combo I pick for the background.

Would you be interested to join us in this month's stencil challenge?

I look forward to see your creation/s soon.
Thank you for dropping by and have a good day.

Take Flight & Soar High @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! First and foremost I would like to greet my new follower aka my new friend Mia for joining in the circle of my blogger friends. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Wishing you all joy and happiness this December. Can hardly believe we're at tail end of the year after having a roller-pandemic-coaster ride for two years. Life where I am is gradually progressing and businesses are back operating to ensure the growth of economic sectors. Everyone is getting back their 'life' despite continuing to live with the endemic procedures where must wear mask is top priority once outside the house.

Nevertheless I hope life will get better each and every day in 2022 and hoping for some great happenings for me and you. Remain positive shall we!

 Enough blab {smile}.
I'm so happy to share with you today my newest addition of card made as part of my dt work for STAMPlorations December Stencil Challenge.
I used Mosaic In Squares - Slimline Stencil to create the background in grey tone. I also swipe gesso over Circular Two Stencil to create pattern above the Framed Oriole birdie stamped down on tissue paper. For a little bit detail, I stamped some Trendy Leaves 2 and place them across the card. Lastly I added sentiments from New Day Clear Stickers.

I hope you find my card inspiring and that you may take up our stencil challenge before January welcome us to a new chapter into new year.
Time sure flies so you better hurry.

Till I see you again. Happy crafting and stay blessed.

7th Annual Giving Thanks Blog Hop & Give Away @ STAMPlorations

 Hello everyone!

Welcome to my blog. My heartfelt thank you for dropping by and that itself  makes me so grateful. I hope our 7th Giving Thanks & Blog Hop gives you much happiness and joy, many inspiration and ideas from all the designers' projects.

I hope you find my sweet card appealing {chuckle}. I used dry sponge technique to create the background by sponging one color from ink pad through Petals 1 stencil. I always love this fun way to create a design for the background and once dry, I proceed to adhering the Flutter Zen 1 butterfly and clear sticker sentiment. To finish off the card is a distress edge with brown as always.

The hop and giveaway are open until December 8 so you can take your time hopping and linking up. Winners will be announced on December 10 in the November winners post.

May you be the lucky one and best of luck..

Truly appreciate you so much.
May this special day be celebrated with your loved ones.

Incredible You {Art Journal} @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! Hello November! New chapter and new wishes and new hope. Make peace with your past so it doesn't spoil your present. And so without further ado, here's presenting my newest make for STAMPlorations November Stencil Challenge as part of my design team work.

I created a very simple art journal with hope you will find it inspiring.

I decided on three color combination ~ blue, yellow and brown to depict the fall season. For someone like me who live in South East Asia with greenery all year round, I must say fall season looks so incredible to me. I used Bloomdalascopic #2 stencil by sponging paints through it forming pretty circle pattern before I deliberately tear off the piece into half and and another quarter. Then I glued them randomly over the patterned paper. Lastly I added sticky sentiment after gluing down my all time favorite butterfly.

8th BIRTHDAY Celebration @ STAMPlorations

 Happy Birthday STAMPlorations!

8 wonderful years blessed with amazing products just for you makers! STAMPlorations is gifting prizes to anyone of you. Celebrate with us and you could be the lucky one.

This is me on Day 2 revealing my projects using 8th Birthday Bundle #2.

I made  a shabby card with layers of oldie-left-over patterned papers accumulated from active scrapbooking years and highlight the center with the new stamping bloom from the bundle. I stamped it on a blue patterned paper and colored with water color.
Below is a row of pages made from toilet rolls for a ring booklet to be precise. Actually there's holes at the top left side but I have covered them up with the paper srcaps. At the time of doing so, I decided to leave it as is for a while because I wasn't sure whether these pages will be punch and bind back or use for something else like a tag or turn into a journal or something else. I seem to have hard time planning straight whenever I intend to repurpose toilet rolls (teeheehee).
My most favorite is the 5.5 inches art border die. It's so flexible in creating whatever you want. In my case, I cut a one strip through Sizzix machine and use it as decoration for my make.
Here's another example I did for my tag by die cutting repetitively to create a cute design:

Visit STAMPlorations SHOP for more exciting products. And do remember to use my coupon code for 20% off of your purchase.

Wish you all the best of luck and hopefully you win one 8th birthday prize.
Till next time. Have a pleasant week.

Fun 8th Birthday Bundle Products @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! I hope you're feeling good today. I'm fine and taking great care of my brain to remain positive mind being home 7/11 for the three weeks past. Okay I do drive out to nearby grocery; think I did so three times but it's always my other half would go get our food supply when they dwindle. The lockdown is continued after June 14 and will probably end on June 26, 28? I can't remember, lol. But I'm okay with this 'homecation' because I am hoping to do as many as I can around the house especially the garden. The rain simply stop me when it pours nearly every evening when there are times I'm in the mood but!!

Anyways, when sky is grey and cloudy, I try to do what I want in the garden before rain falls; otherwise I'll be indoor crafting away, reorganizing and cleaning (never seem to end, ha but I enjoy it somehow) and what else? Yeah, my mission to sew drapes haven't started yet but let's see if I could start this week.

Enough blab. Let me now share my recent design team work for STAMPlorations featuring gorgeous products from Birthday Bundle #2.
I used See the Good and Art Border #2 die to create this tag. I really love the die and had fun poking through the thin metal with needle to release the debris after cutting it with Sizzix machine.I used Blossom Sprays #5, See the Good, and Design Blox #6 for these CAS tags.
For this intuitive art on a card, I used Blossom Sprays #5 and See the Good word phrase. Stay hopeful is what all of us have been saying since early 2020 and I'm still hoping for the world to be back to normal again. Miss travelling {smile}!!
Pre-order the Birthday Bundles for only $24.99 (reg. $38) per bundle inclusive of shipping anywhere in the world!

This deal ends Monday, June 21, before midnight Pacific time.
Better hurry!

That's it for today. See you soon with another new arrivals.

Hi there crafty souls! How is everyone feeling today? I wish all of you the safest and healthiest daily living sprinkle with joy and happiness each moment.

Today I bring you all a pretty cute tag with a touch of mixed media process in the making. Let me tell you I almost screw it up and took five!! I didn't like it and felt something wrong with the coordination and colors and just everything. But hey, here's the finished tag after giving myself a five minutes break [actually more] wandering in my garden kissing my plants for some joy {chuckle}.
