Find Your Purpose {Art Journal} ~ Stencil Challenger Reminder @ STAMPlorations

Hi everyone! Here's featuring my reminder project at
STAMPlorations October Stencil Challenge.

My art journal here speaks mixed media in my effort to make it looks a little vintage with several elements used layers after layers. Well what d'ya think?

A few up-close pictures:

 I started off with coloring the background with black gesso followed by Deco Art green watercolor with strokes of brush.

I used Bubble Dance stencil to form some white circles using white paint then I doodle the edges with white gel pen. Then I stamped down flowers using Its A Girl Thing Kindness stamp set with versafine black ink pad before I filled them up with Deco Art gold paint.

I stamped down a white birdie from Trendy Birds 2 stamp set using white paint and shined her eyes with black gem. For more additional interest for this art work I decided to use Leaves 1 stencil designed by Sanna Lippert. I filled up the leaves with lemon green and gave the edges white color using white gel pen. Lastly I added light green loose gem in the center of each flowers.

Life Is Good {Art Journal} ~ Stencil Challenge @ STAMPlorations

Hello October and Good Day everyone!! I'm so happy to be back designing for STAMPlorations with a new season of challenges. Previously known as Mixed Media Challenge now is Stencil Challenge. You can create anything goes project/s with a stencil from ARTplorations or any brand you have.

This is my art journal to kick start October and inspire you to create and join us this month.

Some close ups:

 I swiped gesso over Crisscrossed stencil on the top and bottom to frame up the main quote created with Life Is Good mask by outlining the quote with black pencil in the first place. Then I used black gel pen to blacken it even more in a relax manner.

 To create all the subtitles as I call it, I used Bold Sentiment stamps: Create, Discover and Explore to  stamp them all. All I did was playing with the sentiments in each set of stamps to create the subtitles I wanted.

 This art journal speaks about my passion for art and the style I love making. I usually use watercolors for background and like to splatter black or white paint for the finishing touch. This piece of artwork consists a lot of layers and did take some ten minutes debate between my heart and brain to pick the colors {lol}.
