{My DT work for STAMPlorations}
Hi everyone and a happy first Sunday of the month! That simply means a new display of Sunday Stencil by STAMPlorations design team is up at her challenge blog bringing the latest mixed media challenge for November.
Take a visit here for lots of beautiful creations that we hope will inspire you to create any mixed media work and join our challenge but no card please.
I played with watercolors as always on my art journal this time and simply let the mind runs free.

I played with watercolors as always on my art journal this time and simply let the mind runs free.
Some close-up pictures:
I started gluing down trims on both ends and some mesh on layered of paper scraps which I have adhered three days before while waiting for my middle girl to finish school. I don't like to waste time and you often see my fingers working on crafts or reading magazines while waiting {smile}.
I stamped the Be Free sentiment from STAMPlorations when the entire page was dried naturally. Sometimes I use heat gun to speedy things up but the other day I was just lazy to get up for the heat gun in the other room so I let the air dry it up and I browse the net while waiting. Make use of time!
Notice the dots below? Yes, you guess right; they're modeling paste through Dots All Over ARTplorations stencil.
And this is how it was before watercolors took over.
After I have gesso-ed the pages, I randomly build up the texture with layers of paper scraps, some mesh and trims making sure the composition is appealing to the eyes. Next I begun to apply modeling paste through Dots All Over and Flourishes ARTplorations stencils.
I misted the pages with water, dropped some watercolors, picked up the page and chasing the water tilting side to side, top to bottom to fill in some white areas. I usually start with lighter color and gradually drop in darker colors towards the end until I am satisfied.
Basically I didn't use many products for this art journal.
Here's the completed artwork once again:
I hope to see your work at this linky before the month ends. Don't forget to display this graphic on your blog post to be in the votes and stand a chance to win fabulous prize.
Last but not least I'm taking my art journal into this challenge at Berry71bleu:
