Cheers

Scrapping has invaded our dining room once again! This time I needed a bigger table to create a double page layout for a challenge at Let's Scrap. After dinner and table cleared, I set up my craft stuff and first of all, choose the best patterned papers. It didn't take me long to decide though. Kaisercraft has wonderful line of patterned papers.
Cheri O'Neill designed a great sketch I know I will enjoy doing my layouts. I have chosen the photographs...big thanks to Lili Sulastri who has always been my photographer when I'm not around to capture great moments! The sketch require ten photos but I only have nine. Unfortunately one has been used for my girl's class project so I use eight photos altogether.
Materials used:
patterned paper: Kaisercraft
border punch: Martha Stewart
ink: Tim Holtz, VersaFine
puffy sticker: Momoyo
handmade flowers: Floral Doodles
Here's my take on the sketch.
Here's the sketch:

I can't tear myself away from the sewing machine, lol. I punched the border and sponge up with olympia green ink to coordinate with the turqoise patterned paper. I distressed the edge and the photos as well. The edgy look always satisfy me :)
I have also sponge up the title (puffy sticker) from the origin pink to olympia green ink.

The date: 20.12.2009. The location: My parent's home. The story: My sister was leaving on the weekend and as always prior to depature, she loads her car with only God knows what 1001 things she packs, it's always full to the brim! While she's busy in and out, my children and my niece (with tiara)  took advantage playing in the car boot. What fun it was for them all.
The fun and the laughter captured will always be reminisced and cherished forever and ever.
Thank you for stopping by. Have fun and keep smiling!
Hugs!
